Kybella is an injectable treatment made with deoxycholic acid, a molecule your body already uses to break down fat, designed to reduce fullness beneath the chin.
At The Real Skin Medical Center, we offer Kybella for clients who have fullness under the chin that does not respond to diet or exercise. A series of small injections is placed into the area beneath the chin, where it breaks down fat cells that your body then clears naturally over the following weeks. Once treated, those fat cells can no longer store fat, so results are long lasting for most clients.

Every appointment is thoughtful and designed to respect your time. Most visits take under 30 up to 60 minutes from check-in to checkout.

RECOVERY + RESULTS
After Your Appointment
Swelling under the chin is expected and is part of how Kybella works. It is usually most noticeable for the first few days and settles over one to two weeks. Tenderness, numbness, and bruising are also common. Many clients plan their first session around a quieter week, and a scarf or turtleneck works well in the meantime.
Results develop gradually as your body clears the treated fat cells. Most clients need two to four sessions spaced at least a month apart, and your provider will reassess your profile at each visit to decide whether another session is needed.

She began her career in urgent care, where she worked in high-pressure environments that required precision, attention to detail, and the ability to truly listen. Those experiences continue to shape how she approaches every client today.
In 2018, she transitioned into aesthetic medicine with a more personal perspective, one that values understanding each individual and creating a thoughtful experience from start to finish.
